The legacy of Brewing in Stanley Park dates back to 1897 when our namesake brewery was established in Stanley Park. In 2009, we introduced a new generation of beer drinkers to this chapter of local brewing history with the launch of Stanley Park 1897 Amber. Today we are located in the heart of Stanley Park at our Restaurant & Brewpub, where we brew great tasting beers and offer a West Coast Craft Beer Experience like no other.

About The Role

We are looking for an energetic individual with a passion for craft beer and an entrepreneurial spirit; a people person with a knack for building relationships. If that sounds like you…please keep reading! In this newly created role, you – the Brand Experience Manager – will be primarily responsible for creating and growing trial opportunities, consideration and affinity for Stanley Park Brewing in Vancouver and its various communities. You will become an expert on the SPB brand. We want you to build relationships with customers, community groups, local business, clubs and host beer events and education sessions at the SP BrewPub! You will also have a chance to work alongside the Marketing and Sales teams to provide support in other SPB programs and events in and around the lower mainland. This position is a mixture of consumer engagement, creative thinking and setting up events!

 

Responsibilities
  • Create and manage a yearly event schedule (BrewPub, Community, Festivals, Sponsorships) including budget ownership/accountability
  • Coordinate out-of-province event strategy in key markets.
  • Assist with development of social media content, including creating mini-briefs for photos, videos and stories
  • Write social media post content
  • Planning and executing SPB led partnerships & events.
  • Manage event related trade tool inventory.
  • Coordinate the logistics for shipping supplies to the event locations.
  • Create event sponsorship packages and lead the solicitation and securing of sponsorships.
  • Organize and lead collaboration with the brand/trade team on event concept, graphic design/production/printing, and event marketing.
  • Manage follow-up with vendors, sponsors and brands ambassadors for each event.
  • Keep track of event finances including purchase order generation, invoicing and payment collection.

 

Qualifications
  • Demonstrates a passion for all things craft beer and specifically Stanley Park Brewing.
  • Access to a vehicle and valid driver’s licence is mandatory
  • Must be a self-starter!
  • Possesses a ‘can do’ attitude with a defined and urgent bias for action.
  • A Minimum of 2-3 years sales and/or marketing experience in a CPG environment with a proven track record of results.
  • Dynamic business acumen. Able to deliver high quality results in varying capacities (sales and marketing) and channels.
  • Possesses outstanding time management and multi-tasking capability.
  • Understanding of design principles and the application of brand guidelines
  • Strong problem solving skills and the initiative to adapt and overcome in the face of adversity.
  • Ability to grasp strategies and create tools and tactics for in field execution.
  • A natural ‘Bridge Builder’ committed to building effective internal and external relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Available to travel and attend evening/ weekend events as necessary
  • Legally able to sell alcohol beverages
