The ladies of Stanley Park Brewing got together for a Women’s Brew day to participate in our 4th annual International Women’s Day Pink Boots Society Collaboration Brew. We caught up with Brewer, Rachel Young, as she tells us more about the inspiration for this beer, her mom - Big Jan, and what this collaboration series means to her.
This years brew is a Hazy IPA to showcasing the 2021 Pink Boots hop blend, featuring notes of citrus, tropical fruit, and a hint of pine. All proceeds go to the Pink Boots Society, to help support women in brewing. The Pink Boots Society was created to assist, inspire, and encourage women and/or non-binary individuals in the fermented and alcoholic beverage industry to advance their careers through education.
Stanley Park Brewing has been involved in four Pink Boots Collaboration Brew Days and are proud to have donated thousands of dollars to help in the education of future women in brewing! We recognize the importance in having an organization of females in the fermented/alcoholic beverage industry who is supporting all women who brew and ferment, package, design, serve and write about beer.
